I’ve learned that being involved in every part of the process is essential. From the initial concept to the name, and even the final packaging design, I like to have a hand in every detail.
The Beckham brand has grown immensely in recent years. What’s next for you in the coming five years? Any major projects?
I don’t really think of my career and passions as a “brand.” I played football for 22 years because it was what I loved most. Today, I focus on three main areas: business, my football team in Miami, and my work with UNICEF.
What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?
Work hard and never give up - that’s advice I received as a kid and have lived by ever since. It’s also crucial to love what you do and enjoy the journey.
You and Victoria are often seen as the ultimate power couple. Do you share ideas and projects with each other?
We do offer advice when needed, but at home, it’s all about the kids and spending quality family time together.
If football hadn’t worked out, what career path do you think you’d have taken?
Honestly, I couldn’t imagine doing anything other than playing football. I worked tirelessly to make that dream a reality because it’s what I was most passionate about. I’m incredibly lucky to have had such a long career doing what I love.
What ingredients do you gravitate toward in a fragrance?
I’ve always preferred scents with a fresh edge. Aqua Classic delivers that perfectly with its zesty lemon and green notes, creating a bold and energetic fragrance.
Do you stick to one fragrance, or do you like to mix it up?
I mix and match depending on my mood and the day ahead. Different moments call for different scents, and I like having that variety.
