At 44, Ryan Reynolds has made a name for himself, particularly for his role as the cheeky anti-hero Deadpool. Much like his on-screen persona, Ryan embodies a playful, down-to-earth vibe (with a dash of humor 😆) and has developed a personal "uniform" of sorts.
"My wife often jokes that I don’t need a full wardrobe - just a drawer would do," Ryan shares about his spouse, Blake Lively.
Shirts
Among his clothing collection is a T-shirt that’s over 18 years old, originally black but now faded to a comfortable gray. "I snagged it from a vintage store after moving from Vancouver to Los Angeles around 1998. Everything was just $4 back then," he recalls.
Pants
Ryan sticks with the same Rag & Bone chinos, owning three pairs in different shades of the same style. "I don’t have a lot of clothes; even Marie Kondo would be proud of me. I find that there are only a few items that truly represent who I am, and I'm committed to them for the long haul."
Jackets
A standout piece in Ryan's wardrobe is his zip-up hoodie from Reigning Champ, a Canadian brand. "My style is definitely shaped by my upbringing. Coming from a middle-class background, I wore hand-me-downs from my three older brothers, which made me appreciate durable clothing."
While promoting Deadpool 2, Ryan fell for an olive green suede jacket from Officine Generale, initially borrowed from his stylist for a photoshoot. He liked it so much that he asked to keep it, and since then, it has become a staple in his wardrobe, seen everywhere from press events to casual outings.
Shoes
Ryan's shoe game features the brown suede McCaffrey shoes, a comfortable pair he picked up while filming. For his work with Armani, he wore tailored suits and overcoats chosen by his stylist, and after the shoot, he jokingly "claimed" them for himself. "The outfits were tailored to fit me perfectly, so if they didn’t end up with me, where would they go?"
Hats
"I have a 15-year-old Newsboy cap that my wife would absolutely kill me for tossing out because she’s so familiar with it. I’m thinking about putting it in a museum since it’s seen better days. I don’t wear it often anymore, though - I'm afraid it might fall apart completely..."
